Well stated, Dadrites!  The issue of the 80/20 rule for shared custody in Kansas, and the shortcomings thereof, have been noted for a long while.  Unfortunately, the advisory committee only reviews the guidelines every 4 years instead of an ongoing review.  It appears obvious that there are mathematical errors in the calculation.  Currently Kansas uses a shared expense approach as an option.  It would seem this equation has the exact same problem.  Please keep fighting!
