I just wanted to follow up on djmlaw's post.  It seems in 2012, Governor Brownback signed HB2117 which was an extensive tax restructuring bill.  Among the list of tax credits which were repealed was the child care tax credit.  So the Kansas portion of the child care tax credit is no longer considered when calculating child support.  Here is a link to the legislation summary if you're interested: http://kslegislature.org/li_2012/b2011_12/measures/documents/summary_hb_2117_2012.pdf

Thanks djmlaw for pointing that out.

Isn't that a Federal Credit?

Federal Credit still there but Kansas 25% of federal credit gone (so Guidelines out of date)
